Help: Email: Outlook Setup
While there are many email programs available, many Logistics Logic users prefer Microsoft Outlook. Below are the instructions you'll need to use when setting up email accounts in software such as Outlook.
| Tip: Webmail In most cases, your Logistics Logic account includes two applications for web-based email. Generally, you will access these with something like the following (most internet browsers supported): http://example.com/webmail http://example.com/squirrelmail/ NOTE: your username is generally your full email address (you@example.com) |
Outlook Email Account Setup Example:
- Open Microsoft Outlook
- From the upper menus in Outlook, choose "Tools", then click "Email Accounts..."
- Choose the "Add a new email account" option, then click the "Next" button
- Choose the "POP3" option (most common), then click the "Next" button
- In the resulting screen, as shown below, enter the required information replacing example.com with your domain name:

- User Name is your full email address- Be sure to check the "Remember Password" if you are the only user of your computer - Click the "More Settings" in the screen shown above
- Select the "Advanced" tab
- In the "Delivery" section, check the following boxes:
- Leave a copy of messages on the server
- Remove from server after [4] days note: change to 4 or more to suit your needs
- Remove from server when deleted from 'Deleted Items' - Click OK
- Click Finish
